Nominating Committee Procedures

In February, the Executive Committee shall select a Nominating Committee consisting of three members, not more than one of whom may be a member of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will name the Chair for the Nominating Committee.
The Corresponding Secretary shall immediately notify the Committee of their selection.
It shall be the Nominating Committee Chair’s duty to call a committee meeting and present its slate to the Executive Committee no later than the 8th day of March. Written notice of their slate will be sent by the Corresponding Secretary to all voting members no later than the 15th day of March.
No person may be a candidate in a Club election who has not been nominated.
No person may be a candidate for more than one position.
No person may be nominated who has not been a member in good standing for one year prior to the election. The nominee must be willing to accept the nomination.
Additional nominations signed by any two (2) members in good standing may be sent to the Corresponding Secretary to be received no later than one month prior to the annual meeting. Nominations cannot be made in any other manner than as provided above.
